01 Who we are

We are operators, innovators and investors with deep experience inside national security.

We help founders shape, build and scale into an opaque but critical market. Venture discipline, applied to the most unforgiving problems. Investment is where we start. It is rarely where we finish.

OriginVeteran founded. Mission led.
StagePre-seed to early-stage.
MandateEight critical technology domains.
02 The Moment

Strategic risk has returned. Technology is deciding it.

Australia and its allies are rebuilding capability at a pace not seen in generations. AUKUS, sovereign industrial policy, and a generation of operators becoming founders. That window is open. We exist to move through it.

03 Focus

Eight domains that will decide strategic advantage.

F/01AI-AUT

AI, Autonomy & Decision Advantage

Mission autonomy, edge AI and human-machine teaming. Decision advantage at the speed the fight now demands.

F/02SPC-ACC

Space & Resilient Access

Launch, spacecraft and space-enabled services. Assured communications and PNT when the environment is contested.

F/03CYB-EMO

Cyber & Electromagnetic Operations

Advanced cyber, electronic warfare and control of the spectrum. The most active front of modern conflict.

F/04QTM-SNS

Quantum & Advanced Sensing

Quantum computing, security and sensing, and the next generation of ISR. Seeing first, deciding first.

F/05UND-MAR

Undersea & Maritime Autonomy

Uncrewed maritime systems, seabed awareness and undersea capability for an island nation's decisive domain.

F/06MFG-MAT

Advanced Manufacturing & Materials

Additive manufacturing, advanced and novel materials, and the sovereign industrial base that turns designs into deployed systems.

F/07PWR-NRG

Next-Gen Power & Energy

Energy storage, generation and resilience. Power for platforms, bases and expeditionary operations.

F/08BIO-SEC

Biotech & Biosecurity

Synthetic biology, biosecurity and human performance. Capability and protection for the operator.

04 Doctrine

Every investment starts with the mission, not the market.

  1. Map the need

We start from the mission gap, stated by the operators who own it. Not the market map.

  2. Define the effect

What changes in the field if this technology works. If we cannot name the effect, we do not invest.

  3. Operational diligence

Technology tested against the mission, by people who have run it. The pitch is not the proof.

  4. Invest

Conviction capital at pre-seed and early stage, at the speed of the founder.

  5. Grow

From first contract to sovereign capability, through a market that does not explain itself.

In practice, we show up however the mission requires.

05 Discretion

You will not find our portfolio here. That is deliberate.

Visibility creates risk for the companies we back and the people who build them. So we are discreet by design. Our portfolio is shared on a need-to-know basis.

06 Contact

Founders seeking a partner. Investors looking to support national security capability. Allies who want to know what we're watching. Reach out and our team will be in touch.

Reach out

Founders, brief us in three lines: the need, the effect, the evidence.

Operational security is assumed. Share only what you can. We will ask before we need more.
